    We are currently seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to facilitate our technical strategy and vision. Ensuring manufacturing processes in our high-quality precision manufacturing environment. 

    Responsibilities:

    • Manages the programming, tooling, material, and human resources to assure CNC programs, manufacturing processes, tooling and fixtures are timely, and cost effectively designed and developed to support production requirements.
    • Identify, recommend, and implement best practices for managing
      • Engineering documentation such as Process Drawings, Set-up documentation and tool sheets
      • ERP foundations (BOM /Routings)

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
    • 5+ years of relevant experience in specialized area or product line(s)
    • 1-2 years of demonstrated leadership experience required to include managing a group of personnel.
    • Lead a team of 10 or more (programmers, tool designers, project leaders)
    • Exp. with CNC programming up to 5-axis
    • Ability to read, understand and create manufacturing drawings
    • Knowledge of GD&T
    • Ability to use process capability (SPC) data to determine how to improve manufacturing processes
    • Demonstrated ability to independently create and implement functional and cost-effective processes that meet complex specifications and requirements.
    • General understanding of internal economic factors (cost, margins, profit impact of decisions) affecting assignment areas
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Proficient in the use of CAD and Database systems related to Engineering functions. Previous direct CNC programming experience is a plus.
    • Skilled in Project Management primarily related to launch of new processes and new equipment
    • Green Belt or Black Belt certification is a plus
    • Experience with CAD and CAM systems
    • Understand and support the daily needs of the employees managed in their use of Mastercam, Solid works and Epicor ERP software applications.

    Physical Requirements:

    • Safely and effectively lift, carry, and move objects of varying weights.
    • Bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching, climbing, balancing, standing, and walking, for extended periods and maintain the necessary physical dexterity and coordination.
    • Work in various environmental conditions, which may include exposure to varying temperatures, weather, and noise levels.
