    Job Description

    ThePub is looking to hire a talented Content Producer who will produce both content and image projects. 

    _THIS POSITION WILL BE WORKING ON SITE AT OUR STUDIO AT 358 W ONTARIO IN CHICAGO. THERE WILL BE OCCASIONAL TRAVEL FOR ON LOCATION SHOOTS. _

    You are a detail-oriented individual who is experienced in managing concurrent projects and can independently prioritize your projects to meet deadlines. You are a force of calm and good judgment as well as an adaptable person who revels in change. You want to raise the bar creatively and are responsible for ensuring we meet or exceed our high standards of quality.

    COMMUNICATION: By acting as a single point of contact with cross functional partners, the Producer will continue to streamline the flow of information to establish a unified voice to our client, account, and production partners. This ensures that projects stay organized, on track, and that correspondence funnels through the right channels.

    RESOURCE AND PROJECT MANAGEMENT: Resource management is a key function of the Producer, across the various creative production roles that vary from project to project. They assist in managing team bandwidth, vendor resources, and schedules every step in the content production life cycle. With goals to improve workflow efficiencies and ensure we’re utilizing the best talent available for each project.

    SERVICE: Service is at the forefront of our business, and we work daily to create and strengthen relationships with our agency partners, clients, and creators. Prompt and thorough responsiveness and a genuine interest in others is what makes our service model strong and memorable.

    • Working closely with the photographers, crew, content creators, and editors to manage and execute in studio and on-location shoots for a variety of clients
    • Work to expand our data base of vendors and crew for shoots
    • Bid, manage, maintain and wrap budgets for projects
    • Confirm all details of shoot are covered in pre-production to ensure a smooth shoot
    • Create and send out production books, call sheets and communicate any outstanding details to talent and contributors
    • Secure necessary insurance, releases and contracts in advance of the assigned shoot
    • Take initiative to expand relevant industry/software knowledge and skills and share ideas to improve photography, creative design, and production execution

    LOCATION & COMMITMENTS

    • Full-time role, Chicago/in person
    • Up to 30% travel may be required for projects
    • Overtime may be required to deliver on client projects and deadlines
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • 3+ years producing short form content and photography, project management, and/or creative/PR agency experience
    • Excellent written and verbal communicator
    • Knowledge of current events, pop culture, video, web and social content
    • Ability to pivot and adjust quickly to schedule changes and creative
    • Attention to detail, demonstrates a high degree of accuracy and consistency
    • Self-starter with an ability to work autonomously
    • Excellent organization and time management; able to prioritize large volume of work effectively and efficiently with tight deadlines
    • Knowledge of project management software a plus
    • Working knowledge of photo/video equipment and technologies a plus
