We are seeking compassionate and dependable Therapeutic Aides for Baltimore City Public Schools to support students with academic, behavioral, and personal care needs in a school setting. This role involves assisting students with classroom activities, behavior management, transitions, social interactions, and daily living skills while working closely with teachers and support staff.

Responsibilities

Support students academically and behaviorally throughout the school day.

Assist with transitions, personal care, toileting, and feeding needs when required.

Implement behavior support plans (FBA/BIP) under staff guidance.

Monitor and redirect student behavior to promote a positive learning environment.

Assist teachers with classroom organization, instruction, and data collection.

Support student safety during school activities and transportation when needed.

Maintain professionalism, punctuality, and effective communication with school staff.

Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years old.

High School Diploma or GED required.

Ability to work with students with special needs and behavioral challenges.

Willingness to complete fingerprinting, CPI training, and required onboarding training.

Physically able to lift, assist, and, when necessary, safely restrain students according to approved procedures.
