About the Role:
Youth Elevation LLC is looking for a passionate and dedicated Therapeutic Skill Builder to join our team in Lynchburg, VA! Responsibilities:
Provide individualized therapeutic skill-building sessions to youth clients in home, community, and school settings
Implement treatment plans developed by clinical supervisors to support behavioral and emotional growth
Teach coping strategies, social skills, and self-regulation techniques to children and adolescents
Document session progress, client goals, and behavioral observations in a timely and accurate manner
Collaborate with families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary treatment teams to ensure continuity of care
Model positive behavior and serve as a role model for youth clients
Monitor and report changes in client behavior or safety concerns to supervising clinicians
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, or related field preferred
Prior experience working with children, adolescents, or individuals with behavioral health needs
Strong understanding of trauma-informed care and youth development principles
Excellent communication, patience, and interpersonal skills
Ability to maintain professional boundaries while building trusting relationships with youth
Reliable transportation and valid driver's license required
Must pass background check and meet state licensing requirements
