    ABOUT THIS ROLE

    The Therapist provides trauma-informed individual and group counseling to adult survivors and child witnesses of domestic violence, in both shelter and offsite settings. This role is part of a multidisciplinary team focused on comprehensive support, including prevention, assessment, advocacy, referral, and ongoing therapeutic services. Bilingual (Spanish) candidates preferred.

    KEY RESPONSIBLITIES:

    Client Services:

    · Conduct psychosocial assessments for adults and children affected by domestic violence. · Develop and regularly update individualized service plans and safety plans. · Provide weekly individual, family, and group counseling using evidence-based, trauma-informed approaches. · Facilitate psychoeducational and therapeutic support groups. · Deliver domestic violence education to clients. · Offer crisis intervention as needed & collaborate with other professionals as needed

    Administrative & Compliance: · Complete and submit accurate documentation within required timeframes. · Maintain compliance with CCSS policies, funder guidelines, and licensing standards. · Update client master lists and ensure files meet internal and external audit standards. · Participate in staff meetings,, aftercare services and PAIP victim outreach as assigned. · Contribute to CCSS’s 40-hour domestic violence training program when needed.

    Preferred Qualifications: · MSW-Social Work / MA/MS Counseling · Clinical Psych or related field · LSW/LCSW eligible / LPC/LCPC Eligible · Trauma-Informed Therapy / DV/IVP advocacy/therapy
