    Therapy Staffing Firm is seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist for full cycle recruiting responsible for sourcing (finding), hiring, onboarding and retaining the professional staff that provide services for its clients.

    We are looking for an Independent, self driven professional (Human Resources) HR Generalist to join our team and implement various human resources programs. HR Generalists have a broad knowledge of human resources functions, from hiring to onboarding and from employee compensation to evaluation. If you have a passion for HR, are familiar with labor law and look to kickstart your career in the field, this is the place to be. Your role as an HR Generalist will be far from one-dimensional. You’ll undertake a wide range of HR tasks, like organizing trainings, administering employee benefits and leaves and crafting HR policies. You will use Human Resources Information Systems to ensure all employee records are up-to-date and confidential. You’ll act as the main point of contact for employees’ queries on HR-related topics. The goal is to ensure the HR department’s operations will be running smoothly and effectively to deliver maximum value to the organization as a whole.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop sourcing-recruitment of staff by posting positions on appropriate advertising sources, scheduling in-person meetings, completing and monitoring background checks, and process all new hires once selected as finalists;
    • Complete the appropriate screening of applicants, reference checks and credentialing to comply with regulatory requirements and applicable law. Address immigration issues and respond to competency issues, as necessary. Maintain accurate human resources records through consistent organization, filing and documentation systems.
    • Develop and maintain positive relationships and rapport with all levels of staff and management to accomplish the goals of the employment functions. Ensure that appropriate candidates are approved for referral to supervisors by analyzing qualifications, matching with hiring criteria, etc.
    • Maintain applicant database. Prepare offer and rejection letters letters. Respond to management regarding the status of vacant positions and placement efforts.
    • Screen applicants and resumes against position requirements. Conduct in-depth employment interviews. Ensure candidates are interviewed, obtain immediate feedback and, where appropriate, extend offers promptly, establishing timely start dates.
    • Handle all pre-employment processing prior to the start of employment. Ensure employee-completed documents are fully filled out, complete employer sections of documents, conduct website verification's and background checks.
    • Ensure attendance at new employee orientation programs. Conduct exit interviews, monitor turnover activity and report on results.
    • Monitor staffing levels and productivity of staff.
    • Assist in other areas of the organization as needed

    Qualifications

    Education Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required.

    Experience Requirements

    • Strong Background in healthcare recruiting
    • Human Resources experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
    • Proven experience as an HR Generalist
    • Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures
    • Good knowledge of employment/labor laws
    • Outstanding knowledge of MS Office; HRIS systems (e.g. PeopleSoft) will be a plus
    • Excellent communication and people skills
    • Aptitude in problem-solving
    • Desire to work as a team with a results driven approach
    • Additional HR training will be a plus
    • Proficient with Computers, Apps and Social Media
