The Training Manager, with the training and certifications, develops curriculum, delivers various NASA required education and training classes, maintains records, and teaches. Examples of classes taught include firearms and intermediate weapons safety, tactics, and qualifications, legal issues, defensive tactics, fire safety, and emergency preparedness.
Primary/Major Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):
- Conduct, oversee, and coordinate all contract required training
- Ensures compliance with all orders, policies, and procedures with emphasis on the safe conduct of operations
- Completes all required reports, forms, and other documentation in accordance with established procedures
- Responds to/supervise situations and provides directions to responding security force

Required Qualifications:
- US Citizen
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university. Law Enforcement experience may be substituted for post high school education.
- Ability to obtain / maintain Secret security clearance
- Physically fit as tested by the Clients requirements
- Certified firearms instructor
- Client Federal Arrest Authority (FAA) certified
Required Experience:
- Five (5) years’ experience in security and supervisory related field.
- Three (3) years’ experience in training
- Should have experience in labor relations
