    In this role, you will play a vital part in enhancing the well-being and success of our students through comprehensive psychological assessment, counseling, and collaboration with educators and families.

    Responsibilities:

    Psychological Assessment: Conduct thorough psychological assessments to identify students' cognitive, emotional, and behavioral strengths and challenges. Utilize a variety of assessment tools to inform educational planning and intervention strategies.

     

    Individualized Support Plans: Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education and behavior intervention plans for students with diverse needs, such as learning disabilities, ADHD, and emotional disturbances.

     

    Counseling Services: Provide one-on-one and group counseling to students facing emotional and behavioral difficulties. Offer guidance and teach coping strategies to help students manage stress, anxiety, and interpersonal relationships.

     

    Crisis Intervention: Respond to critical incidents within the school community by providing immediate support to students and staff during emotional crises. Facilitate crisis management plans and referrals for higher-level care as necessary.

     

    Consultation and Collaboration: Work closely with teachers, special education teams, and administrators to address academic and behavioral challenges in the classroom. Offer strategies for creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.

     

    Parent Education: Offer workshops and resources to parents and guardians on topics related to child development, behavior management, and mental health. Foster open communication between school and home.

     

    Data Analysis: Collect and analyze data to assess the effectiveness of interventions and programs. Use data-driven insights to adjust support strategies and improve outcomes for students.

     

    Qualifications:

    • Master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field.

    • Appropriate state/country licensure or certification as a School Psychologist.

    • Strong understanding of psychological assessment tools and techniques.

    • Knowledge of special education laws and regulations.

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with students, parents, and staff.

    • Empathy, patience, and a commitment to creating a supportive and inclusive school environment.
