Job Description

As the Channel Marketing Intern for the Outdoors business unit of Fortune Brands Innovations, you will gain first-hand experience with marketing and communications initiatives, including product launches, shows and events, and channel programs. You will have the opportunity to engage with the Outdoors sales teams, brand marketing and creative teams to support the needs of the wholesale and retail channels. The channel marketing intern for Outdoors will support the market-leading brands Therma-Tru, Larson, Fiberon, Fypon and Solar Innovations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage / support key customer marketing programs and projects. This will provide experience with brand management; project management; and customer interaction in the wholesale and retail channels.
• Lead the tracking and metrics of select channel promotions and programs.
• Help facilitate sales team and customer communications of new products, programs, and promotions.
• Support regional and customer shows and events.
• Execute sales requests from the field for flyers, signage, and customer / market needs.
• May perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

A successful Marketing Intern will have:

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program focusing on marketing, communications, or related field
• Should possess knowledge of Microsoft Products including Power Point, Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Knowledge of Hub Spot email tool (preferred, but not required)
• Willingness to learn
• Creative, flexible and deadline oriented with a basic understanding of project management (planning, organizing, priority setting)
• Must be able to function in a collaborative team environment
• Strong English & grammar skills
• Knowledge of AP Style (preferred, but not required)
• Great organization skills and attention to detail
• Must show extreme responsibility
