    About the SAS/SQL Programmer position

    We are looking for an experienced SAS/SQL Programmer who will help us create secure and functional code in order to design and build superior and innovative software. You will provide quality coding solutions both for simple applications and complex information or operating systems.

    We expect you to have a passion for technology and software building. Besides, you should possess close attention to detail and an analytical mind.

     

    Programmer responsibilities are:

    • Work together with business analysts and developers to produce software designs

    • Interpret program specifications and basic prototypes

    • Develop quality code in the appropriate language, in accordance with software designs and specifications

    • Reuse individual software solutions when constructing higher-level systems

    • Create advanced SaaS when applicable, with the help of web-based tools

    • Run tests against your code on a regular basis, ensuring that it produces the desirable results and perform debugging when necessary

    • Implement upgrades to make software and systems more secure and efficient

    • Work together with technical writers to create documentation for user support

     

    Programmer requirements are:

    • 5+ years' experience of working on a SAS/SQL Programmer position

    • Solid experience in developing web applications using at least one popular web framework (JSF, Wicket, GWT, Spring MVC)

    • Good experience of programming in languages such as C++, Java (J2EE), XML, Python, SAS, etc.

    • Excellent knowledge of relational databases, SQL and ORM technologies

    • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with a detail-oriented mindset

    • Strong abilities to discover and fix errors in code

    • BSc or BA in computer science, software engineering or other relevant areas
