ROLE SYNOPSIS
The Recruitment Operations Specialist is a talent partner to internal stakeholders will identify, attract, engage, and hire top talent to build the Thiess business in North America. Supporting both internal and external stakeholders and managing key relationships with both project and business unit employees (blue collar and white collar). They will drive continuous improvement throughout the early careers and experienced recruitment process with a focus on the people experience and engaging top talent.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Partner with hiring managers to identify current and future staffing needs
Engage and train stakeholders on the recruitment process and tools available for their success. Partner to ensure individual and creative outcomes
Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization.
Consults with management to ensure job descriptions accurately portray job specifications, job duties, qualifications, and skills
Creating and managing job postings through internal career page and job posting sites
Partner with the Recruitment Analyst to source potential and passive candidates through job postings, direct channels, social media, internet sourcing, and networking events
Partner with Marketing and Communications to generate candidate interest through creative marketing and social media messaging
Builds constructive relationships with job candidates, embodying the Thiess employer brand and values to facilitate a positive employee experience
Sources, screens, and interviews candidates
Advises and consults with the hiring managers on hiring decisions, job offer negotiations, and staffing strategies
Provides timely, relevant, and accurate feedback to internal and external candidates as well as hiring managers
Maintains relationships with universities, technical schools, community resources and participate in career fairs and in-person engagements when required
Demonstrates high degree of professionalism in communication, attitude and teamwork with customers, peers, and management
Occasional travel for key roadshow recruitment activities and to build a site presence with project employees
Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies
Performs other related duties as assigned
DESIRABLE CRITERIA
ESSENTIAL EDUCATION
• University Associates or Bachelor’s degree, experience in lieu of degree will be considered
• SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred
