    Job Description

    Pay Rate: $22.35 per hour. Attendance Premium of $0.25 and Shift Premiums of $0.50 and $1.00 for hours worked during swing and night shifts. Longevity premium of $0.25 after one year of service.

    Job Description:

    • Oversee standard operating procedures.
    • Organize and ensure that the department is staffed and make necessary adjustments as needed.
    • Instruct, direct and assist hourly employees as needed.
    • Complete appropriate paperwork neatly and accurately.
    • the employee is regularly required to sit; frequently walk and stand; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear. The employee may frequently lift and /or move up to 15 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

    • Must be able to work as an effective team member
    • Must be able to work in a cold and wet environment
    • Must be able to stand for entire shift
    • Must be able to work consistently at a fast pace
    • Must be able to kneel, bend and stoop
    • Must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
    • Must have good leadership and interpersonal skills, self-motivated.
    • Must be able to read and understand written instructions and communicate verbally in English with management and hourly employees
    • Must be able to work safely and set an example of safe working habits for their coworkers.
    • Must be able to give instructions and follow-up with hourly employees
    • Must be able to complete reports as required by position
    • Must have good employment record
    • Must be able to work overtime
    • Must be able to drive a forklift/pallet jack and have/or obtain a Foster Farms Safety License
    • Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred.
    • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
