THE OPPORTUNITY

Thinkingbox is looking to add a Junior to Intermediate Digital Production Artist to join our award-winning team in Los Angeles! We're looking for an individual who is passionate about building their career in advertising! As our Production Artist, you will be responsible for providing assistance to both the creative and production team with all administrative, design, organizational and research-related tasks. You will be working closely with our team leads and designers to support in bringing our creative vision to life!

Note, interest in designing for clients within the gaming industry is considered an asset but not a necessity for this position!

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

• Maintain the creative server and assist in keeping it organized 
• Assist with research related tasks 
• Create internal collateral (awards, web assets, social etc)
• Use best industry practice standards to create assets using Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator etc) or other relevant software applications (.pngs, .jpgs, etc.,) for web and social platforms 
• Maintain orderly production documentation (decks, spreadsheets, word docs etc.,)
• Understand the fundamentals of file handling, naming, and differences between various file types and how to use them, save and export them with the appropriate software application
• Assist in creating Google slide, inDesign or Keynote decks
• Assist in Photoshop touch-ups to pitch mockups
• Assist in basic mockups in Photoshop, Sketch or relevant software application
• Assist or create basic graphics / iconography 
• Support Senior Creatives with ad-hoc task on projects as required

WHAT YOU'LL BRING 

• A relevant degree or diploma in fine arts or a related field
• Ability to work digitally with programs such as Photoshop and the Adobe Creative Suite
• Experience with designing for websites, banner campaigns and/or applications is considered an asset for this position! 
• Creative problem-solving skills
