Position Title: Cardiovascular Operating Room Manager Position Type: Regular Full-Time

Location: 4867 W. Sunset Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90027

Salary Range: $148,800 – $192,500 / yr Bonus: We are offering a 10% sign-on bonus. There is also the potential to earn up to a 15% bonus based off the annual salary. The amount is based primarily off the performance of the medical center.

Required (non-negotiable)

CA RN license.

American Heart Association BLS.

BSN or MSN.

At minimum candidate needs to have 5 years of FT equivalent operating room RN experience in an acute care setting. Experience must be current or very recent. Candidate needs to have at least a few years of cardiothoracic OR experience. Not accepting surgery center experience.

At minimum candidate needs to have 3 years of FT equivalent Manager or Supervisor experience. Charge Nurse experience doesn’t meet this requirement. Experience must be current or very recent.

Overview: This position will manage the Cardiovascular Operating Room Department. It is a 5 OR suite with approximately 35 direct reports, they average 200 cardiac cases/month. This hospital is the largest in Southern California, it has 560 licensed beds and has Magnet designation.

Experience

Minimum five (5) years of clinical nursing experience relevant to a given position/department required, including three (3) years of management, supervisory or leadership* experience.

Education

Academic degree in nursing required (Bachelors or Masters degree).

Graduate of accredited school of nursing.

BSN and National Health/Nursing Administration Certification or MSN are required for PICU and NICU Departments for facilities that are CCS certified or desire CCS certification.
