The Medical Director would be mainly administrative, but ramping up would require seeing participants as we grow the census. Associate Medical Directors can be experienced physicians looking to take the next step or have a few years of experience. Medical directors usually have more years of leadership experience. Since this is a new market, the schedule could vary based on volume and need. I know that in more mature markets, they go in 3–4 days a week. The bonus will be around 25% based on the metrics achieved. We offer unit appreciation rights (UARS)
This person can live outside of Stockton/Fresno/ La Quinta. Perhaps good for someone who wants to be around the bay area without having to pay the high bay area cost of living prices.
The Facility (All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly) program provides seniors with the opportunity to continue living in their homes and in their communities. Our innovative and comprehensive range of medical services is what ignites our passion to treat the whole person and not the symptoms! We employ a collaborative interdisciplinary team (IDT) approach to evaluate and guide participant care, which is key values, team culture, and mission.
Our program serves as our patients’ health insurer as well as directly providing comprehensive primary care and social services to keep them living safely in their communities. Reporting to the Chief Clinical Officer, the Medical Director will be at the center of an IDT, providing care. PACE is an ideal job for a clinician, as it allows you to spend ample time engaging with and truly caring for patients without the misaligned incentives of fee-for-service.
