Job Description
The role will support the R&D Proteins team based in Waltham, MA, covering all aspects of new product development and deployment, KPI monitoring/tracking, and planning/design of future manufacturing system and processes. The role will also support ongoing and future efforts to perform technical transfers from R&D into Manufacturing.

The ideal candidate for this position should possess a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in data management, particularly in supporting new product releases, with a preference for experience within the life science sector. A crucial aspect of this role is a strong working knowledge of protein biochemistry and protein production. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of leading process flows, guiding projects from ideation through conceptualization to the successful release of products to customers.
In addition, candidates should demonstrate experience in analyzing manufacturing processes and exhibit proficiency in writing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). An essential requirement for this role is a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of Bill of Materials (BOMs) within an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. This includes expertise in the technical structures involved in designing BOMs within a system to meet the specific requirements of the manufacturing process.
The candidate should possess excellent interpersonal skills, being capable of influencing and engaging stakeholders and team members effectively. Building strong working relationships throughout the business is a key expectation. Given the dynamic nature of the role, the ability to multitask and prioritize is crucial, as the candidate will be handling multiple tasks simultaneously. The successful candidate should be comfortable with the fast-paced environment, demonstrating the capability to hit the ground running and contribute efficiently to the team's success.
