    Position Summary:

    River City Believers Academy is seeking a dedicated and faith-filled Third Grade Teacher to join our Christ-centered learning community. This role requires a teacher who not only demonstrates excellence in academic instruction, but also models a genuine relationship with Jesus Christ in and out of the classroom. Our ideal candidate has a heart for children, a passion for biblical integration in all subjects, and a commitment to cultivating both the mind and spirit of each student.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Create a nurturing, engaging, and structured classroom environment grounded in biblical truth and academic excellence.
    • Teach core subjects (reading, writing, math, science, and social studies) using developmentally appropriate methods and differentiated instruction.
    • Integrate Scripture and a Christian worldview into daily lessons and classroom culture.
    • Maintain open and consistent communication with parents, keeping them informed of student progress and classroom activities.
    • Foster strong, Christ-honoring relationships with students, families, and staff.
    • Plan and implement hands-on activities, projects, and classroom routines that support a love of learning.
    • Collaborate with fellow faculty and administration to support school-wide goals and spiritual development initiatives.
    • Participate in professional development and school events as needed.

    Qualifications:

    • A personal and growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
    • A clear calling and passion for Christian education.
    • Bachelor’s degree in education (or related field) from an accredited college or university.
    • Valid teaching certification or willingness to pursue certification.
    • Classroom teaching experience preferred, especially in lower elementary grades.
    • Strong communication, organization, and classroom management skills.
    • Commitment to uphold the mission, vision, and core values of River City Believers Academy.

    • Demonstrate spiritual maturity and integrity in both personal and professional life.
    • Regularly attend and be involved in a Bible-believing church.
