    We are seeking a Dental Assistant to join the team at Third Street Dental in the historic German Village area of Columbus, OH. You will assist our dentist with preparation for each visit, developing X-rays, and aiding the dentist during procedures. We offer an attractive salary of $26.00 per hour based on experience, plus benefits, and a $1,500 Sign-On Bonus. Responsibilities: • Greet and coordinate with patients to coordinate appointment times • Prepare treatment rooms prior to visits with the appropriate instruments and materials • Assist the dentist during treatments by providing the necessary instruments and materials • Take and develop X-ray pictures for patient records • Ensure accurate completion of clinical records and notes • Perform laboratory activities such as creating impressions, temporary crowns, and teeth-whitening trays • Assist with patient education and provide preventative oral care guidance Qualifications: • MUST HAVE 1-2 YEARS OF PREVIOUS DENTAL ASSISTANT EXPERIENCE! NO EXCEPTIONS! • Provide clinical assistance to the dentist throughout treatments, such as giving supplies and materials, taking x-rays, and suctioning • Schedule and verify patient visits • Set up the relevant dental instruments, materials, and medications needed for each treatment • Accomplish laboratory procedures including casting and sculpting dental impressions • Help with patient education and provide guidance in preventive oral care Compensation: $26 based on experience
