Apparel Retail Merchandiser

20 hours per month (2 locations one with weekly 4-hour visits the other with monthly, 4-hour visits)

JOB BRIEF:

Merchandise adidas Apparel and Footwear at your local Foot Locker and Champs stores.

Bring your developed visual merchandising skills and techniques to impact adidas presentations. Apply adidas brand standards and next level detail to ensure an appealing shopping experience, while building positive relationships with store teams.

Responsibilities:

• Merchandising and Inventory Management Skills:
  • Apply creative, detailed visual merchandising techniques to elevate presentations
  • Hanging apparel standards: shirt sleeves and pants hung with precision
  • Dress mannequins with perfection and according to store team direction
  • Steam products as needed
  • Ability to organize floor inventory and pull from back stock as needed
  • Ability to follow a directive for product placement, yet be able to make creative decisions as needed

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Fashion Visual Merchandising or Retail Apparel/Soft Lines experience. 1yr required.
• Availability to complete visits Monday - Friday , starting your visit any time you like between 8AM - 12PM. All visits must be complete by 4pm latest.
• Capture data, take quality photos and write detailed visit summary notes using our app on your smart device. (iOS version 15.0, Android version 10.0 or above)
• Ability to work closely and harmoniously with store teams; build relationships quickly
• High Energy! Ability to be on your feet, move product around and lift up to 30 lbs
• Dependable! Schedule and complete your work as scheduled. Must be reliable

This 1099 contract position provides excellent supplemental income for experienced retail merchandisers. Our competitive pay starts at $23/hour (based on your market and relevant experience). In addition to your hourly rate, your travel is compensated per visit (not per mile). We are hiring now and we move fast! Upon offer acceptance, you will complete a 2-hour, paid onboarding and be able to schedule work immediately following. You'll also have an opportunity to gain product knowledge and build merchandising skills through ongoing brand education moving forward.
