You'll assist with merchandising in-store Fender displays, become a Fender expert by utilizing Fender Academy and obtain crucial data using the ThirdChannel app.
WHAT YOU DO:
- Manage a monthly calendar of 4-hour music store visits generally Tuesday-Thursday with occasional weekend visits
- Merchandise and perform light maintenance within the Fender Shop-in-Shop.
- Support key product launches and communicate details to store team
- Collaborate with store teams on ideas to support merchandising, product sell-through, etc.
- Use ThirdChannel technology on a smartphone to collect crucial data
- Complete visit report in a timely manner
- Engage with consumers and provide sales support to retail associates
- Receive access to Fender's internal resource platform, Fender Academy, and get compensated for completing Fender Academy modules
- Help educate sales associates on Fender Academy, ensuring employees are knowledgeable
WHAT YOU NEED:
- Reliable transportation
- Previous experience in retail or working as a team trainer
- Ability to demonstrate extraordinary communication and organizational skills
- Be comfortable working in a supportive feedback environment
- A smartphone or tablet to use during store visits
- Passion for the Fender brand
- Ability to carry and transport equipment for shifts up to 30lbs.
- Musician skills are an added bonus
