JOB BRIEF:

If those iconic three stripes mean much more to you than just a logo on Messi's jersey sleeve, we want to hear from you! We are looking for enthusiastic and experienced visual merchandisers whose attention to detail paired with retail can be utilized for optimizing adidas apparel presentations in department stores.

As an adidas apparel merchandiser, you'll be the backbone behind our product displays, ensuring adidas product looks presentable and drives sales. As someone who's truly fluent in retail, your ability to translate a shop directive across multiple fixtures will make you an integral part of our success. You'll work in department stores, such as Kohl's and Macy's, so being skilled in patience and thinking on your feet is critical to your success in the role.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Follow a prescribed directive for adidas apparel and translate that to real-life, given shop fixtures and available inventory
• Reset and maintain visual merchandising standards which include improving hanging and folding standards.
• Checking inventory in the stock room to ensure all product is on the sales floor
• Inspect marketing materials for accurate placement
• Dress mannequins
• Take before and after photos and gather information to inform adidas about in store presence

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

• Passion for the adidas brand and the quality of adidas products
• Experienced visual merchandiser in a retail environment
• Friendly with the ability to build relationships quickly and nurture them
• Developed verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to problem solve, work quickly, and manage time autonomously
• Ability to install and navigate the ThirdChannel app and general comfort with technology
• A smart device with internet access (iOS version 13.0, Android version 8.0 or above) is required

Opportunity Details:

This 1099 contract position provides excellent supplemental income for experienced visual merchandisers. Our competitive pay starts at $22/hour and is based on your market and relevant experience. Travel is also compensated. Store visits are between 4-8 hours each. Visit frequency and duration will vary by retailer, from weekly to monthly cadence.

In addition to hourly and travel compensation, you'll also have the opportunity to gain product knowledge and build merchandising skills through ongoing brand education.We move fast! Upon hire, you will complete the 2-hour long, paid onboarding and schedule work in stores immediately.
