    Job Description

    Thomas Hayes Studio is looking for an experienced Social Media Manager. Our Social Media Manager is responsible for planning, implementing, managing and monitoring the Studio's social media strategy in order to increase brand awareness, improve marketing efforts, and increase sales.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    1. Design and implement social media strategy to build a strong online brand and community.

    2. Collaborate with the CEO and COO to plan social medial campaigns.

    3. Generate, edit, publish and share engaging content regularly (e.g. original text, photos, videos, news and captions) on all social media platforms, including our website. 

    4. Collaborate with other teams, such as operations and client service, to ensure brand consistency.

    5. Communicate with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner, and monitor customer reviews.

      • Monitor social chatter, trends, seasonality, events relevant to target audience, and campaign launches to identify and act on moments that organically engage audiences.
    6. Develop content experiments that intelligently use native features (like IG TV, Live, IG Stories, trending stickers, etc.) to optimize content performance, while never losing sight of target audience and brand attributes.

    7. Track and analyze social analytics to enable data-led content decisions.

    8. Partner with CEO team to identify tastemakers, influencers, and key customers who can be turned into advocates, content creators, and other partners.

    9. Assist with event planning and produce event marketing materials.

    10. Assist with weekly photo shoots, prep pieces for photoshoot, help curate shots, and work with photographer.

    REQUIREMENTS

    1. 3+ years professional Social Media experience with a lifestyle, beauty, or fashion brand.
    2. Strategic understanding of Instagram, Pinterest, TikTok and emerging platforms.
    3. Experience driving audience expansion and diversity efforts on organic social media.
    4. Confident communication skills with the ability to execute upon strategic plans, transfer knowledge to other team members, and provide feedback efficiently.
    5. Ability to develop channel specific hypotheses, experiments, and drive continuous improvement in existing programs.
    6. Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with ability to meet deadlines.
    7. Ability to work independently.
    8. Ability to express self effectively, both orally and in writing.
    9. Consistent punctuality.
    10. Ability to effectively handle multiple deadlines.
    11. Ability to establish effective working relationships throughout the Studio and be a team player.
    12. Thorough command of the English language, including excellent spelling, grammar, punctuation.
    13. High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and web-based applications.
