THIS POSITION IS ON-SITE & FULL-TIME. We are seeking an Administrative, Data Entry Payment Processor to join our law firm. The primary focus of this position is to verify client account information, maintain client records, and process monetary transactions on behalf of the firm’s clients in a timely and accurate manner.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

This person will be working under general supervision and will be expected to perform the following duties in a consistently accurate and diligent manner.

• Verify client account information
• Process, document, and log transactions
• Process transactions through various methods: mail, phone, online, excel
• Accurate mathematical calculations
• Accurate and timely data entry into the firm’s system & excel
• Maintain & update existing data on a consistent basis
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
• Meet payment deadlines
• Assist in achievement of all departmental goals
• Work cooperatively with various levels of legal assistants, paralegals, attorneys, and administration.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Entry level position; minimum high school diploma or equivalent
• Bilingual preferred (English/Spanish)
• Extremely organized with great attention to detail
• Ability to adapt to changing environments and handle multiple priorities
• Excellent knowledge of word processing tools and spreadsheets (MS Office Excel, Adobe, etc.)
• Working knowledge of computer and peripheral devices
• Fundamental knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)

COMPENSATION INCLUDES:

• Starting Hourly Rate $16.50 DOE
