Job Description

Primary responsibilities involve learning the sell-able features of all commission-able products, being comfortable establishing a relationship with returning customers while being sensitive to their needs/wants, helping customers understand the options available to them, and training customers in using purchased equipment.

Secondary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, assisting customers in locating and purchasing non-commission-able merchandise, operating the POS system, checking in repairs that require service, and performing other duties as assigned by the Store Managers to maximize store profitability and customer satisfaction while protecting company assets.

This position is part time, but there is room for growth after a 60 day training period. We are hoping to find someone motivated and excited to grow with the position.

• 3% to 5% commission paid on commission-able merchandise ranging in price from $200 to $25,000. Average hourly rate is $24.84 with hourly and commission.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Dealing with customers and maintaining other responsibilities may require you to be on your feet for the majority of the day.
• Checking machines in and out is a normal part of the work day. Please be comfortable lifting up to 40lbs.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

• As a commissioned employee; acutely developed interpersonal skills, clear and effective speech, independent motivation, organization, and a drive to succeed are extremely important to success.
• Highschool Diploma or GED equivalent is required
• Previous retail experience or similar work experience is required.
• Computer Literacy (i.e. Being able to use basic computer programs with confidence: Word Processors, Basic Excel Knowledge (Simple data lookup only), ability to use Copy/Paste, store information on a Flash Drive, etc.)

SEWING EXPERIENCE IS NEITHER REQUIRED NOR PREFERRED.
