Wylander, a recruiting company that specializes in the flooring industry, is hiring Inside Sales Representatives for flooring retailer Thornton Flooring’s Sioux City and Sioux Falls locations. This family owned and operated business has been South Dakota’s premier flooring center for over 45 years and now boasts three locations! We are seeking self-motivated and detail-orientated individuals with a proven sales track record; we will provide the tools and training you need to achieve outstanding success in the flooring industry.
Compensation:
- Hourly DOE: $18.00/hr. - $26.00/hr.
- Commission: 3% of material profit
- Vehicle provided for area travel

Responsibilities:
- Design an action plan to successfully create new business and build client relationships
- Responsible for achieving company sales targets and update management the status of accounts
- Maintain a professional, ethical, and positive disposition as a primary representative of the company in the community
- Regularly attend client meetings, trade shows, networking events, conferences, etc.
- Integrate sales efforts with other organized marketing activities (promotions, advertising, exhibitions, telemarketing, social media marketing, etc.
Requirements:
- 5+ years’ experience in a sales or business development representative role
- Flooring industry experience preferred (not required)
- Estimating experience a plus
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment with a demonstrated ability to juggle multiple competing tasks and demands
- Proven ability in creating new business and client relationships is a must
