Threat Tec, LLC, a Veteran-Owned Small Business, has an immediate opening for a Software Developer to join our growing company either remotely or at our Headquarters Office in Hampton, VA.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Expertise in the backend development and cloud enablement/migration.
• Responsibilities would involve setting up and optimizing cloud-based servers and databases.
• Help define efficient database schemas and work with the client team to ensure responsivity.
• Should have familiarity with Azure monitoring tools and be able to diagnose bottlenecks and suggest ways to address them.
• This position will interface with government clients to ensure we adhere to any security requirements and constraints.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• 5+ years with Relational and NOSQL Databases.
• 2+ years with Cloud services (AWS or Azure, Azure preferred).
• Experience with Azure DevOps.
• Experience with Server and Database Scaling issues.
• Experience with Docker
• Performance and throughput analysis.
• Diagnosing bottlenecks.

KNOWLEDGE OF:

• C# NodeJS, JavaScript
• GitHub, Jira
• Agile method, SCRUM
• Azure Build Pipelines

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• COMPTIA Security+ Certification preferred.
• Active DoD Secret Clearance or above required.
