MORTGAGE LOAN OFFICER- RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Dedicated to delivering award winning customer service
- Manage the pre-approval process, rate lock conversations, sending disclosures, and any restructuring/loan issues that arise
- Work closely with industry related professionals to gather and prepare all necessary information to complete underwriting requirements
- Communicate a thorough understanding of different loan programs and closing costs to help prospective buyers make a decision
- Identify prospective customers through company generated inbound leads
- Conduct customer needs analysis to learn and understand customer’s goals
- Create relationships with realtors, prospects and customers to establish trust and encourage referral business.
- Conduct thorough follow up, outbound calls to interested consumers.
- Close sales and advise customer of next steps
- Stay current on new products available for customers, completing ongoing education for licensing and compliance
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Knowledge of state and federal regulations, and company underwriting policies and guidelines
- Exceptional decision-making ability, superior written and verbal communication skills, and superb interpersonal and customer service skills required
- Previous experience with Office Suite and loan originating software
- Must have an active NMLS Mortgage Originator License
- Extensive knowledge of underwriting guidelines for conventional and government loans as well as state and federal mortgage regulations and disclosures
