SERVICE AGENT Thrifty & Dollar Car Rental @ Spokane International Airport Full-Time: 40+ hours per week Compensation: Hourly pay - starting wages will be negotiated with management prior to hire being completed and is dependent upon job experience, skills, etc. (minimum of $13.50 hourly) EMPLOYEE PERKS

Health and Dental Benefits (Available after 90 days of employment) 401K once you qualify Sick Leave Vacation Leave Raises (dependent upon performance review) JOB DESCRIPTION & RESPONSIBILITIES Thrifty Car Rental is seeking applicants for the position of Service Agent at our Spokane International Airport location. Responsibilities include cleaning and prepping rental cars, documenting damage and cleaning/repairing those damages as required. Additional tasks may be assigned at the manager's discretion as needed. REQUIREMENTS AND DUTIES ASSOCIATED WITH SERVICE AGENT POSITION:

1. Clean driving record
2. Candidate must have their own insured vehicle to drive to & from work (state-minimum insurance is okay, we do not require our employees to have full-coverage on personal cars)
3. Experience & familiarity with proper automotive upkeep, use and/or maintenance is a plus, but not necessary.
4. Must have good driving skills:

   Employees are responsible for driving dozens of new rental and sales vehicles around on the lot every day, and may be required to transport cars to other locations. Depending on which location you work at, you may also be asked to transport customers on request to dealerships, repair shops, or their homes if they are renting from us while having work done on their own vehicle

5. Must work well with others:

   There are several agents working in the garage and back lot at all times, all agents must work together and communicate with each other to ensure that all of that day's fleet gets through the garage and back out on the rental line before the end of the day

6. Ability to work in an outdoor environment regardless of weather:

   This is a year-round, full-time position that requires employees to be outside cleaning and washing cars every day, whether it is 90 degrees or 9 degrees outside, and this holds true for days with snow, rain, fog, wind, or any other type of inclement weather, as long as the airport and rental counter are still open to the public

7. Must be reasonably active and fit:

   Candidate must be physically capable to be on their feet all day, as this position requires a moderate to high level of movement and physical activity throughout the entire shift, except for during normal scheduled 10 minute and lunch breaks

8. Ability to complete tasks quickly and correctly, with minimal direction from other staff members NOTE: Rental contracts are reserved by date and by time - therefore it is essential that employees be able to work very quickly and able to think on their feet as the tasks at hand can change at any moment. Your daily tasks depend not only on the advanced reservations scheduled that are available to view first thing in the morning, but also new incoming reservations from walk-up customers who need a car immediately. This is especially true during the summer months, which encompass our busiest time of the year as this is the peak season for air, business and recreational travel in our area.
