Pharmacy Clerk
Thrifty White Pharmacy is seeking full time Pharmacy Clerk in #061 Fargo, North Dakota to provide excellent customer service by completing the sales transaction process for customers in a friendly, accurate and timely fashion. To maintain clean, neat pharmacy work areas. To greet all customers and offer assistance.
PRIMARY OBJECTIVE
Pharmacy Production Clerks are responsible to execute with speed and accuracy for the packaging and shipment of prescription orders directly to patients and to the Thrifty White Pharmacies with the highest quality standards. The position is a support role for several areas of operation including #61 Production, the Patient Care Center and local store distribution.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Package orders with speed and accuracy
Inspect and receive product following standard of practice
Prepackage and process orders for mail delivery
Package refrigerated orders following standard of practice
Handle startup and shut down duties pertaining to department needs at the beginning and ending of each shift
Create and run daily reports
Stack orders in storage areas or on delivery pallets using jack pallets and/or forklifts
Secure packages items by attaching fasteners to ensure proper security during shipping
Reset machines following malfunctions to ensure proper functions of equipment
Load and unload orders into loading area
Completion of daily objectives and follow standard of practices
Maintain a clean and orderly work area by ensuring the floors are clean and organized appropriately
Exercise caution to avoid accidents and prevent injuries
Stay compliant with HIPPA regulations outlined in online eLearning
Ensure trash is discarded using safety measures in a timely manner
Trace missing or lost shipments
Complete all assigned duties daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly within the appropriate assigned time allotted
Other projects, initiatives, and duties as assigned
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English
Basic computer navigation and typing skills
Knowledge of TWRX, and OnBase
Ability to actively participate as a team member in order to meet departmental goals
Excellent follow thru to ensure work is done accurately and efficiently
Ability to provide a positive, professional and enthusiastic outlook or perspective
Demonstrated ability to multi-task as well as the ability to change focus quickly based on requests by employees/management/or needs of the department
Able to solve problems quickly and efficiently
Dependable, responsible contributor committed to excellence and success
Drive and operate a forklift upon company training
Must have availability to work night, weekend and holiday shifts
Regular and consistent attendance
Ability to:
Troubleshoot and problem solve using all tools and resources available prior to escalating the issue
Operate phones and copy/print/scan machines
Prioritize, multitask, and manage workload
Handle stressful situations and difficult customers in a polite and professional manner
Maintain effective working relationships with team members and leadership
Maintain confidentiality
Must have the ability to have and maintain a clear record without exclusion, sanctions or debarments with the Office of the Inspector General at the time of hire and monthly thereafter.
SCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS
One scheduled late night a week (M-Th) 11:30AM-8PM.
Every 7th Sunday 10:30AM-2:30PM
The Friday following an employee’s Sunday shift will be 4 hours to get them to 40 hours with the half Sunday. People are welcome to either work the 4 hours that day or they can work a full 8 and get OT.
Every 4th Friday late night 11:30AM-8PM
