    Long Term Care Clinical Nurse Liaison New Berlin/Milwaukee, WI Area

    Thrifty White Pharmacy is seeking out a Long Term Care Clinical Nurse Liaison in the New Berlin/Milwaukee area!

    PRIMARY OBJECTIVES:

    Utilizes relationships to identify business opportunities, service needs and offer expanded service offerings.

    Responsible for educating, problem solving, and building and maintaining relationships with new and existing long term care and alternative health clients.

    Assists alternative care patients in managing disease states by providing point of care testing and other various clinical service offerings.

    MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: Consultative Selling

    Develops, implements and maintains an ongoing marketing plan to acquire new contracts that increase market share of the long term care business and Thrifty White Services.

    Plans and oversees the execution of community based promotional events, open houses, and educational seminars.

    Develops action plans within budgetary constraints and devises marketing campaigns in order to increase service awareness and profitability.

    Coordinates external marketing of services within the community through health providers and organizations.

    Relationship Building

    Builds relationships with local Director of Nursings to increase services and patient count.

    Responsible for relationship development and management of community health partners and organizations.

    Works with Director of Nursing and other staff to identify service needs. Present as a differentiated offering.

    Works with the local pharmacy to ensure service needs are met.

    Clinical Services

    Develops and maintains an ongoing analysis of opportunities to provide Thrifty White health care services.

    Provides point of care clinical services to alternative care patients.

    Assists alternative care patients in managing disease states.

    Coordinates and hosts vaccination clinics.

    Provides assessment, education and therapeutic interventions related to health/wellness issues.

    Long Term Care Operations

    Communicates new program rollouts and initiatives, and educates teams to ensure follow up and effective working processes.

    Acts as a Nurse Educator and provides training to nursing staff including pharmacy process education.

    DESIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

    Education and Experience:

    Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Registered Nurse.

    Experience in Long Term Care Administration, Sales, Marketing or Healthcare/ Business Management or Administration.

    3-5 years of experience in similar position preferred.

    Active CPR Certification.

    Must have the ability to have and maintain a clear record without exclusion, sanctions or debarments with the Office of the Inspector General at the time of hire and monthly thereafter.

    NECESSARY KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

    Requires initiative, motivation, enthusiasm, creativity and ability to understand various areas of expertise. Must be able to react positively to a constantly changing industry and support service offerings to meet client demands.

    Ability to maintain effective working relationships with internal and external partners.

    Ability to gain both an overview and a detailed understanding of complex systems. Requires good analytical skills.

    Availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.

    Ability to travel extensively throughout the Milwaukee, WI area.

    Ability to prioritize and complete tasks efficiently.

    Excellent interpersonal, writing and communications skills.

    Maintain confidentiality of patient information at all times.
