    JOIN OUR MAINTENANCE TEAM! We have an exciting opportunity for a MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN I to join our team at Alaire! This is a beautiful, 357-unit, renovation community located in Renton! You will be joining a large team of property management professionals, with training and career development opportunities! Schedule: Full-time; Tuesday-Saturday

    MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN SALARY AND BENEFITS:

    • $19-$21/hour DOE 
    • $75 lease renewal commission (split between entire onsite team)
    • Medical insurance covered at 100% for non-tobacco users, 80% covered for tobacco users
    • Dental insurance options covered at 100% + Vision insurance options
    • *Eligible for _CONSIDERATION _for a 30% housing discount at the property (*NOTE: this discount is not available at all properties, please inquire with the hiring manager during the interview process if this is an option for this position).

    MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Schedules and performs routine preventative maintenance on all appropriate equipment and tools as directed by Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager.
    • Diagnoses and performs minor or routine maintenance and repairs within homes and throughout the property.
    • Inspects and helps coordinate all needed make-ready repairs and services.
    • Assists in keeping grounds neat and free of litter.
    • Contributes to a positive team environment and happy resident base.
    • Performs any additional duties assigned by Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager.

    MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Prior maintenance experience preferred, maintenance experience in multi-family property management is a plus
    • Comfortable working at a fast-paced property
    • Proficient in unit turns and appliance repair 
    • Excellent customer service skills
    • Strong team player who is eager to engage with the team and participate in resident events
    • Willingness to learn and take initiative on tasks and projects
    • Weekends required
