    JOIN OUR MAINTENANCE TEAM! We have an exciting opportunity for a part-time MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN I to join our team at WESTWYND! This is a beautiful garden style property located in Vancouver, WA and has 120 units. Come join this excellent team! Schedule: Part-time; Thursday-Saturday

    MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN SALARY AND BENEFITS:

    $18-/hour DOE

    • 19 DAYS OF PTO PER YEAR + 10 PAID HOLIDAYS + 1 PAID PERSONAL DAY + 1 PAID DAY OF SERVICE
    • 2021 - TRICK OR TREAT WITH YOUR KIDS! ALL EMPLOYEES WILL BE OFF AT 3PM ON OCT 31ST! 
    • 2021 - CHRISTMAS EVE, CHRISTMAS DAY, DAY AFTER CHRISTMAS OFF!
    • 2021 - ALL OVERTIME WILL BE PAID OUT AT DOUBLE-TIME!

    $75 lease renewal commission (split between entire onsite team)

    MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Schedules and performs routine preventative maintenance on all appropriate equipment and tools as directed by Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager.
    • Diagnoses and performs minor or routine maintenance and repairs within homes and throughout the property.
    • Inspects and helps coordinate all needed make-ready repairs and services.
    • Assists in keeping grounds neat and free of litter.
    • Performs any additional duties assigned by Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager.
    • Contributes to a positive team environment and happy resident base.

    MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Prior maintenance experience in property management preferred, but not required
    • Proficient in unit turns and appliance repair is a plus
    • Excellent customer service skills
    • Strong team player 
    • Willingness to learn and take initiative on tasks and projects
    • Weekends may be required
    • Preferred qualifications: Basic plumbing, appliance, carpentry and painting skills; ability to work with little to no supervision.
