Large company in Denver's DTC (on the lightrail line) is seeking a strong Staff Accountant II. In this role you will be responsible for accurate and timely reporting of financial results.
Responsibilities and Duties
- General ledger review
- Balance sheet reconciliation and income statement analysis
- Assist with preparation of monthly worldwide consolidated financial statements
- Provide monthly analytical review of financial results
- Laise with corporate, field management, and financial departments to ensure accurate reporting and regarding financial performance
- Record and analyse complex intercompany transactions to improve intercompany reporting between regions
- Identify and develop process efficiencies
- Develop relationships cross functionally
Qualifications and Skills
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
- 2-4 years related experience - working in Public Accounting (Big 4 or Large Regional Public Accounting is a plus) or experience as a Staff I/II in a large Corporate
- Strong knowledge of Excel
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
