Internal Audit Consulting to Denver corporates.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Executing quality Sarbanes Oxley audit projects from defined work plans using the provided methodology.
• Evaluating design and operating effectiveness of in-scope audit areas, including efficiency, effectiveness, mitigating controls, and procedures to remediate gaps.
• Reporting findings and project status to the Project Coordinator and Project Manager
• Interviewing process owners to understand current state systems, processes, and/or controls and assessing risk with minimal oversight and supervision.
• Ensuring timely completion of assigned project phases within a defined budget.
• Developing and maintaining effective client relationships.

EDUCATIONAL & PROFESSIONAL CREDENTIALS

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline (e.g. Accounting, Finance, Information Technology or Business Related Field) required.
• 2 - 5 years in internal audit, consulting, assurance services, or related field, either in professional services or industry focusing on IT Audit
• Professional Certification such as CPA, CISA, or similar strongly preferred.
• Experience in Public Accounting (Big 4 or others) strongly preferred

TRAVEL

• Potential travel dependent on client requirements.  Work is remote and some work at client sites within metro Denver.
