We are looking for someone with wide range of experience with enterprise security tools to provide defense in depth to protect our systems and data. You will lead a team responsible for the management and daily care and feeding of our enterprise security tools. You’ll need to have both technical and soft skills, helping to define processes, monitor status and provide recommendations to senior management. The Information Security Manager should be a proven self-starter with the ability to problem-solve and communicate with diverse project teams from a technical and business perspective.Location: Red Bank, NJResponsibilities

    Maintain our security policies and procedures keeping them up to date with best practices

    Identify risks and ensure IT General Controls and operational processes are in place to mitigate those risks

    Work closely with Development and Engineering teams and provide input as to security best practices

    Understand current Information Security trends and make recommendations for new tools or processes to keep company current with industry best practices

    Guide the implementation of our policies and interact with our technology and business stakeholders to develop optimize performance and minimize operational impacts

    Own our security infrastructure - confirm tools are up and running, create and monitor alerts, developing and reviewing reports, and reporting to management on security status and any issues

    Work with stakeholders to ensure policies and procedures are implemented and followed. Provide regular feedback to team and management.

    Work with technical support teams to provide solutions for issues with security tools and processes as they interact with business operations

    Qualifications

    4 years of IT Operations or Information Security experience

    Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Information Technology, Management Information Systems or equivalent work experience

    Deep technical knowledge of security, as well as industry trends

    Experience in implementing and managing security tools in a complex enterprise environment

    Experience as a Sys Admin (Windows or Unix)

    Experience with complex security tools (Firewalls, IDS/IPS, Antivirus, DLP, etc.)

    Added Valuable Skills

    Strong technical writing skills

    Ability to work independently with minimal direction

    Strong written and verbal communication skills; highly responsive with a sense of urgency at all times

    Security certifications such as CISSP, CISA or CISM

    Excellent time management and prioritization skills
