We are assisting our client with the search for a Cost accountant. This is a Direct Hire Opportunity in the Painesville area. Annual base pay is $77,000-$87,000 based on background and experience. This is a HYBRID position. The cost accountant will analyze, process, maintain and report transactions primarily involving fixed assets, inventory, general ledger and machine costing. Duties include: * Accumulate and apply overhead costs. * Analyzing actual manufacturing costs and preparing periodic reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs. * Coordinate, process and analyze production data monthly from ERP SAP system. * Work with Engineering/Product Management/Purchasing cost development new machines. * Manage Automation projects book/reconcile revenue recognition based on validation costs monthly. * Calculate, enter, and post transactions to the SAP General Ledger. * Assist in the audit/reconciliation of the physical inventory with Operations. Qualifications: * Bachelors degree in Business Administration and or Accounting * 3-5 years related experience. * Strong computer proficiency. * Knowledge or experience in SAP is a plus required to have working experience with MS Office (Excel)
