    Job Description

    Tiedemann Advisors is seeking a hard-working Summer Intern to support our work in Impact Investing. This internship provides the opportunity to experience how we support our clients on their impact investing journey from understanding their values to implementing a portfolio that is alignment with their environmental sustainability and social impact goals. The Impact Investment Intern will play a valuable role in supporting our team across the spectrum of our work, which could include due diligence on impact & ESG integrated strategies across asset classes, assisting with impact measurement and reporting, thematic research, projects to improve our processes, and the development of impact marketing materials.  Summer Intern will report to a member of the Investment Team.

    SAMPLE RESPONSIBILITIES (job may include the following based on firm-need)

    Investment Research

    • Contribute to our pipeline of ESG and impact managers for consideration
    • Partner with investment analysts to due diligence ESG & impact managers across asset classes
    • Support thematic research on one of our impact themes, Environmental Sustainability, Education, Financial Wellness, and Equity Lens.

    Impact Client Experience

    • Develop impact investing education and marketing materials
    • Assist in refining our proprietary Impact Diagnostic tool and related client materials
    • Assist in refining a framework for impact measurement and reporting
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Demonstrated interest in impact investing and passion for the role that business and capital markets can play in achieving meaningful social and environmental impact
    • Demonstrated aptitude for qualitative and quantitative analysis
    • Self-starter with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
    • Ability to prioritize and complete projects on time
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Excellent attention to detail
    • Completion of Second or Third-Year Collegiate Courses towards bachelor’s degree in finance, business, political science and/or environmental science preferred
    • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
