    Job Description

    The Impact Investing Internship is an opportunity to experience multiple job functions within impact investing at an RIA. Interns will play a valuable role in supporting the investment group through identifying and reviewing ESG & impact managers across asset classes, assisting with impact measurement and reporting, developing impact investment marketing materials, and supporting advisors in business development. Though this role will include identified projects and deliverables, the ideal candidate will also have an entrepreneurial spirit and solutions-oriented mindset and bring a unique perspective and fresh ideas to the team.

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

    Actual work will depend on the impact project pipeline during the internship period.

    • Assist in building out a pipeline of new ESG and impact managers that would be additive to our platform
    • Partner with investment analysts on due diligence for ESG & impact managers across asset classes
    • Assist in refining a framework for impact measurement and reporting
    • Research new impact business development opportunities
    • Develop client education and marketing materials
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Self-starter and ability to work independently
    • Resourceful, proactive, able to prioritize and navigate in a fast-paced team-oriented environment
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and to meet deadlines with minimal supervision
    • Excellent organization, attention to detail and follow-through
    • Unquestioned ability to handle confidential information in a professional manner
    • Possess analytic skills and an interest in financial markets, public policy and social and environmental issues
    • Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
    • Preference is for a recent college graduate or rising senior. Prior experience in the financial industry is not necessary.
