Position: Tier 3 Engineer (CCIE)

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tier 3 Engineer (CCIE) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network engineering and possess a Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) certification. As a Tier 3 Engineer, you will be responsible for providing advanced technical support and troubleshooting for our clients' network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide Tier 3 support for complex network issues, including troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and resolution
• Design and implement network solutions for clients, utilizing Cisco technologies
• Conduct network assessments and make recommendations for improvements
• Work closely with clients to understand their business needs and provide tailored solutions
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely and effective resolution of network issues
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and advancements in network technology
• Mentor and train junior engineers on best practices and new technologies
• Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) certification
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in network engineering and support
• Extensive knowledge of Cisco networking technologies, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, routing protocols, and network security
• Experience with network design and implementation
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders
• Strong customer service skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to travel to client sites as needed
• Availability for on-call rotation for after-hours support
