Tig & Peach opened in September 2019 as an enrichment center and play space for children ages 0-5. Our goal is to provide a fun, enriching, and beautiful environment for kids and adults alike. A place where children can learn, grow and play. We are proud to say that we have been voted the best place to take your kids by Westchester Magazine since we opened. As we continue to expand and grow, we are currently seeking a part-time assistant teacher and party leader. We have limited class sizes and a beautiful environment for children to learn in. The goal of this program is to create a love of learning, grow the confidence of little ones and have FUN! Qualifications: -Experience with young children. A focus in early childhood education is a plus! -Ability to act as a mediator between children and assist in problem-solving -Assist lead teacher to employ a variety of educational techniques (storytelling, guided play, movement, etc.) to teach children -Observe each child to help them improve their social-emotional growth and discuss tactics with lead teacher -Encourage interaction between each other -Guide children to develop their artistic and practical capabilities through enriching learning experiences -Maintain a clean and tidy classroom consistent with health and safety standards (proper and consistent sanitation, regular handwashing of staff and students, etc.) We love to be organized! -Lead the occasional weekend party for 0-5-year-olds!
