Warehouse assistant

Part or Full time

A small family run business operated in Nogales and Tumacacori, Arizona. We design tile which is manufactured with partners in Guanajuato, Mexico and distributed to luxury showrooms throughout the U.S. Our small team wears lots of hats and takes on challenges not initially in anyone’s job description. There is significant opportunity for additional responsibility and growth in this position.

Nogales-Shipping operations:

·         Looking for a self-starter who has a strong work ethic.

·         The ability to work independently or collaboratively

·         Predisposed to organize by instinct

·         Frequently lift boxes weighing between 20-50 pounds.

·         Inspect orders for quality and accuracy

·         Mastery of a tape measure

·         Ability/Willingness to Operate hand and power tools

·         A desire to follow through tasks to completion

·         Possess basic computer and email skills and a willingness to learn how to prepare shipping documents

·         Forklift Certification weighted

Tumacacori Duties:

·         Maintain order is our sample workshop

·         Fabricate sample/display boards

·         Excellent attention to detail

·         High personal standards of quality of work

·         A self-motivated craftsperson who takes pride in working efficiently.

·         Willingness to learn ceramic processes such as mixing glazes and filing a kiln.

·         Pack small orders to ship by ground service

·         This individual will work closely with business founder, to support their duties and assist in a variety of operational capacities.

Compensation would depend on previous experience. A starting/training wage would be $18 per hour.
