Tilt (check us out here) is looking for a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our team and help us scale our business by ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our systems and services.

Who are you? 👤

As an SRE on the Cloud Infrastructure team, you will ensure the operational reliability of our core product. You will work directly with the engineering team focusing on improving our internal tooling and CI/CD infrastructure. This position is a full-time role reporting to the SRE Manager, Darius Watson.

Day-to-day, you will get your hands dirty by 🖇

• Architecting, deploying, and maintaining networking solutions in AWS to ensure robust connectivity, security, and performance for our cloud-based applications and services.
• Designing and implementing Kubernetes clusters for container orchestration, ensuring high availability, scalability, and efficient resource utilization.
• Developing and maintaining infrastructure-as-code patterns and tooling such as Terraform for provisioning and configuration of cloud resources.
• Implementing CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions to automate build, test, and deployment workflows for our applications and infrastructure code.
• Implementing and maintaining GitOps tooling such as FluxCD or ArgoCD and managing kubernetes resources.
• Participating in on-call rotations and responding to incidents promptly to minimize downtime and ensure service reliability.
• Minimizing the risk to Tilt and our customers sensitive data through adherence to company security practices and privacy by design.

You’re a great fit if 😍

• You have extensive experience with networking concepts, protocols, and technologies, especially in AWS environments.
• You have 3+ years SRE/DevOps/Cloud Engineer experience or equivalent
• You excel at diving deep into complex problems to uncover their root causes and implement effective solutions.
• You embrace unfamiliar problem domains with curiosity and determination, seeking to expand your knowledge and skills.
• You are resourceful and willing to experiment and learn independently while working collaboratively with your engineering counterparts to make decisions
• You’re fearlessly flexible, curious; aka you thrive in this environment and love a challenge!
• You have experience working with a startup and/or with a B2B SaaS business

Total Compensation 💰

The projected annual salary range is $115,000 - $148,000 USD plus stock options (ISOs), because we believe everyone should have some stake in our business. We are people-first and this ain’t some PR jazz, we truly give a damn about our peeps!
