    Job Title: Professional Land Surveyor

    Job Description:
    We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Professional Land Surveyor to join our team of land rights acquisition specialist, environmental specialist, and GIS analyst.

    Responsibilities:
    - Conduct detailed research to gather necessary information about land boundaries, previous surveys, legal records, and existing infrastructure related to the survey area
    - Utilize advanced surveying instruments, such as total stations, GPS receivers, and digital levels, to collect precise measurements and data points
    - Establish accurate control points and benchmarks for subsequent survey operations
    - Produce detailed and accurate survey drawings, maps, and legal descriptions of surveyed areas
    - Analyze survey data, including field notes, measurements, and calculations, to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies or challenges
    - Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other professionals to provide accurate survey data for design and construction projects
    - Monitor and review construction activities to ensure compliance with survey plans and specifications
    - Conduct boundary surveys to establish or restore property lines and resolve boundary disputes
    - Conduct hydrographic and geodetic surveys to determine the physical features and characteristics of bodies of water, shorelines, and landforms
    - Ensure compliance with relevant state and federal regulations, as well as ethical standards set by professional surveying organizations
    - Stay up-to-date with advancements in surveying technology, professional practices, and relevant laws and regulations

    Requirements:
    - Bachelor's degree in land surveying or a related field
    - Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license in the State of Louisiana
    - Proven experience as a Professional Land Surveyor, preferably in a supervisory or leadership position
    - Excellent knowledge of surveying principles, practices, and techniques
    - Proficiency in operating surveying instruments, such as total stations, GPS receivers, and digital levels
    - Solid understanding of legal and regulatory requirements related to land surveying
    - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    - Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
    - Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, team members, and other professionals
    - Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
    - Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to survey sites as needed
