    Salary: 80k-95k

    This position is accountable for the integrity and accuracy of all financial data for the operations of chain and auger product facilities (Fulton and Clinton locations). The Finance Operations Specialist is an essential element of the management team for each plant and is in charge of maximizing financial performance while ensuring that decisions are made with economic rigor. This involves initiatives to lower invested capital, enhance cash flow, and promote ongoing cost and productivity improvement. The Controller - Belts & Chain is the direct supervisor of this post.

    ESSENTIAL TASKS OF THE JOB

    • Prepare, examine, and analyze the chain and auger plants' monthly KPI reports in compliance with business guidelines and GAAP.
    • Actively collaborate with plant management and the controller to make sure that everyone has a clear understanding of the overall financial performance of the facility.
    • Take the initiative in preparing the business planning process for the plant, which includes cost and productivity targets for both sourcing and manufacturing.
    • Create rolling predictions for each month and give plant and operations leadership analysis and commentary on all significant deviations from the plan and the previous projection.
    • Give financial direction for all plant capital expenditures and the supporting business cases.
    • Lead and coordinate plant-wide cost-cutting initiatives, and hold the plant management team accountable for yearly cost cuts and productivity gains.
    • Work with product teams and business management on the development of new goods and new business prospects to create and maintain accurate standard cost data for all products.
    • Make sure the right internal controls are in place to protect the assets of the organization.

    Create the inventory policies and controls required to guarantee the accuracy of financial accounts.

    • For all plants, lead the annual physical inventory.
    • Possess the freedom to move between the plants as necessary.

    TECHNICAL SKILLS

    • Strong variance and root cause analysis skills
    • Advanced Excel and SAP capabilities
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

    Education:

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting/ Finance or Business required.Plus, 7+ years of experience in Accounting/ Finance. (or)
    • Master's degree in Accounting/ Finance or Business (or MBA) preferred.Plus, 5+ years of experience with MA/ MBA completed.

    CERTIFICATION:CPA/ CMA preferred
