    Senior Superintendent-Commercial Construction

    In addition to leading and mentoring a team of Superintendents, the Senior Superintendent is responsible for managing the field related construction activities required to efficiently, effectively, and safely construct our client's projects. The Senior Project Superintendent will work closely with project management staff to coordinate, schedule, and expedite construction activities throughout the project's duration. This will be accomplished through the development of positive working relationships with subcontractors, venders, client's representatives, and other project team personnel.

    The above activities will be carried out with the highest level of integrity toward all of the team members directly and/or indirectly related to our projects construction activities and, in turn, responsible for their success.

    Job Overview and Responsibilities

    • Proficiency with the tools utilized in the construction industry including but not limited to scheduling and project management software packages.
    • Work closely with Project Managers and other team staff to carry out the project's necessary field related operations
    • Responsible for organizing the project site installations related to initial mobilization and the establishment of proper project controls.
    • Responsible for coordinating the activities of the subcontractors and suppliers throughout the duration of the projects.
    • Responsible for the field management and coordination of the project's internal and third party quality assurance programs.
    • Responsible for the creation of daily reports, field records, photos, purchase orders, additional work orders, requests for information, back charges, etc. as determined to be necessary. Provide proper documentation of these items to the assigned project management personnel on a timely basis.
    • Responsible for coordinating the project's scheduled tasks by identifying all of the projects required activities, necessary durations, and sequencing relationships.
    • Responsible for establishing and maintaining a clean and safe project environment for all of the project's workforce personnel. This will require a diligent policing of the activities of the project's subcontractors and vendors to ensure that they are meeting the standards set by our client's safety program. These responsibilities include leading periodic jobsite safety meetings and maintaining detailed documentation of safety related events in the project's daily report logs.
    • Responsible for the management of the project's security programs as established by the respective project's owners and/or their insurance carriers.
    • Responsible to communicate frequently with the client to ensure that the activities and final products meet or more importantly exceed expectations.
    • Other duties as assigned

    • Detail orientated with strong communication, problem solving, initiative and team building skills.
    • Ability to read and understand architectural drawings & specifications and technical standards.
    • Position requires an acceptable background check per company standards.
    • Position requires a valid driver's license
    • CPR & First Aid Training
    • OSHA 10 training: Understands and abides by OSHA regulations and other regulatory agencies relating to job site safety, demonstrates safe work practices.
    • Able to work outside in a wide variety of weather conditions and to meet the physical demands of the position.
    • Position requires an acceptable background check per company standards.
