The Business Banker will have a primary focus of new business development, interacting with businesses of all sizes, prospecting and developing new business loans and business deposit relationships, while using consultative skills to evaluate their needs and provide the appropriate financial solution so they can achieve their goals. The Business Banker will build a loan and deposit portfolio, generate fee income, and cross-sell all business and retail services and products.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and grow a portfolio of business clients by building strong relationships and providing exceptional customer service.
• Develop new business relationships through networking and prospecting.
• Analyze financial statements and credit reports to assess risk and make lending decisions.
• Provide financial advice and customized solutions to help clients achieve their business goals.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless customer experience.
• Stay up to date on industry trends and regulations to ensure compliance with all policies and procedures
• Conduct self in accord with the Bank’s Core Values and Bank Policies

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree with Business/Finance/Accounting emphasis or equivalent work experience
• Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial/business banking relationship management
• Business development experience with a proven track record
• Financial analysis and credit underwriting skills a plus.
