Tint World is the fastest-growing and largest automotive styling center in the world and our location in the Scottsdale Airpark is now hiring for the following position immediately: Automotive 12-volt electronics installer/technician (MECP Certified a Plus) Candidates should have 3-5 years of minimum experience in the 12-volt electronics installation field in a shop environment. We are a state-of-the-art facility and we are building our long-term team. Must be comfortable with working on high-end vehicles. 12-volt technicians with MECP certification are highly preferred (And earn more) or willing to work towards becoming certified. All ideal candidates must pass a background check, hold a valid driver's license, and be fully compliant to legally work in the country. Responsibilities: • Installation of car audio systems, amps, speakers, car alarms, remotes starts and LED lighting options, backup cameras, dash cameras, and radar detection systems • Fully understand wiring diagrams • Knowledge of integrating systems into newer vehicles including Apple Car Play and Android Auto. • Possess troubleshooting experience • Be able to provide advice and guide the customer and sales associate in making correct decisions • Must have knowledge of part lookups for installation kits through companies like Metra, PAC, 12-volt Solutions, etc. • Have the skill to flash modules for remote starts, car alarms, etc. Qualifications: • Candidates should have 5 years of minimum experience in the automotive 12-volt installation field • MECP Certified is a huge plus (or be willing to become certified in a reasonable amount of time) • Have your own specialty tools (other items including a company-owned laptop are provided) • Comfortable with working on high-end vehicles • Knowledge of Viper remote starts and car alarm products is a plus • Enjoys working in a team environment and collaborating on best practices for outstanding customer satisfaction Compensation: $55,000 - $75,000 yearly
