    Job Description

    Tipico North America is looking for an New Jersey Market Manager who would be responsible for overseeing our New Jersey marketing strategy including outreach to local and state-wide businesses in order to build awareness, create hyper-local reward products, and generate player registrations of Tipico.

    This position requires someone who is experienced in street team work and can demonstrate success in developing partnerships and/or local B2B sales. We are seeking strong promotional experience, such as a background in Public Relations, in order to highlight Tipico and showcase the benefits of working with the brand.

    The New Jersey Market Manager will report directly to the CCO and work collaboratively with the rest of the marketing team.  

    KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

    • Create the playbook to grow Tipico in the New Jersey market
    • Assess local businesses to determine if both parties would benefit from a collaborative relationship with Tipico
    • Develop relationships between Tipico and local businesses to create affiliate partnerships
    • Create reward partnership opportunities, ensuring that they are unique and targeted to our sports betting vertical
    • Mentor and supervise junior staff and interns, Growing the Market Management team over time
    • State-wide travel as needed to ensure creation and success of initiatives
    • Keep in regular contact with the rest of the management team to update stakeholders on growth and progress
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • 6+ years of experience working in a busy, high-growth, and fast-paced environment
    • Previous initiative promotional background (professional public relations background, street team experience, etc.)
    • An outgoing personality, someone who can confidently speak with business owners with the goal of forming professional marketing partnerships
    • The ability to work in both rural and city environments – travel required as needed
    • Experience working with all levels of management, and consulting with key business stakeholders
    • Experience leading junior staff

    NICE TO HAVE:

    • Knowledge about and / or experience with sports betting  
    • Online gaming and gambling experience
