  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    Quantitative Analyst is responsible for supporting the Company’s sales operations and strategic initiatives through quantitative reporting and analysis. This role ensures the accuracy and quality of data utilized within the department.

    §  Create and maintain descriptive and predictive data modeling for customer profiling, sales and revenue.

    §  Use statistical methods to provide intelligence in order to improve sales campaign performanceUtilize analyses to create targeted campaigns to improve sale KPIs.

    §  Identify the best analysis approach and methodology, including ways to make insights and reports easily digestible, actionable, and impactful.

    §  Collaborate with other team members to determine key questions the team should prioritize and address through analysis.

    §  Design, develop, and create reporting in Power BI and SSRS.

    §  Maintain and update Power BI with all monthly Microsoft releases.

    §  Ensure accuracy of data in the data warehouse (through research and remediation where necessary).

    §  Confirm accuracy of reports and analyses by testing data reliability and validity.

    §  Work with Business Intelligence and IT departments to understand the continually evolving data sources and data warehouse.

    §  Assist team members in conducting analyses requested by partners.

    §  Respond in a timely, professional and accurate manner to all ad-hoc requests from field and Senior Management.

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    §  Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

    §  Excellent and professional verbal and written communication skills.

    §  Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

    §  Ability to manipulate datasets in MS Excel using lookups and pivot tables to normalize and cleanse sales and policy data.

    §  Strong understanding of relational databases and proficiency in SQL.

    §   Independently create, write and design Microsoft SQL and Microsoft SSRS reports. Ability to design and implement reporting for stakeholders of different levels.

    §   

    §  Possess sStrong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize large sets of data from multiple, seemingly unrelated, sources.

    §  Strong statistical skills, with experience in regression, time series modeling, dimensionality reduction techniques, and basic machine learning (e.g., clustering, regularization).

    §  Fluency in R or Python for data manipulation and analysis.

    §  Work autonomously with limited supervision, and anticipate and solve problems for yourself and other employees of equal level within and outside of your department.

    §  Exhibit a positive attitude, is action oriented and flexible.

    §  Ability to see the big picture while having an exceptionally sharp focus.

    Ability to multi-task and juggle various duties, while meeting deadlines with a high level of quality control.
