Tire Technician (Chicago, IL)

Job Overview:

As a Tire Technician, you will perform comprehensive mechanical services in a full-service repair shop environment. You will inspect vehicles to identify necessary repairs, carry out approved diagnostic-based work, and complete tasks involving brakes, suspension, engine work, and more. The primary goal will be to ensure high-quality repairs that meet customer expectations and maintain shop standards. You will be expected to work independently, bring your own tools, and contribute consistently to shop productivity.

Ideal candidates will be detail-oriented, dependable, and self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills. You will work Monday through Saturday with one weekday off, from 8:30 AM to 6 PM. Key performance indicators will include labor revenue generated, quality of completed work, and adherence to repair timelines.

Background Profile:

• Experience in full-service automotive work, including: brakes, suspension and engine work

• Experience as a tire technician in either PLT or commercial truck tires

• Willingness to bring your own
  tools to work
